Jay from Phantom Detailing just polished out and ceramic coated my Corvette. He was able to polish out the micro swirl scratches that were in the paint and restore it to a mirror like finish. Once he did that he applied a heavy duty long lasting ceramic coating that should keep it looking like new for about five years. Jay really knows what he's doing and he's got the right product to get the job done right. I highly recommend phantom detailing if you're looking for a high-quality finish on your car or truck.

Jay is a Master at his Detailing Craft. He took extreme care to not only get rid of the built up dirt and grime, when he finished the car was IMMACULATE. Jay did a phenomenal job on my mom’s 2008 RAV4. He was very communicative and friendly, and took his time getting out the coffee stains, dirt and whatever build up marinated in the seats and floors. My husband and I contacted Jay to detail a car we just purchased (previous owners had dogs) and we were blown away. His communication and professionalism right from the get go was spot on. When he showed up (after first letting me know he was on his way) he was kind and respectful. He worked on our car all day, and took our used, 2018 Volkswagen and made it look brand new. Dog hair gone, leather seats beautifully restored and the outside is SO shiny. We are getting our truck on his schedule now to be detailed as well. We will be using Jay again and again!

Super impressed with Jay’s knowledge, experience and understanding regarding automotive paint, clear coats, restoration options and ceramic coating options. His quote gave options for us to decide which was best for our intention and also was very clear to understand the expectations. We design and sell luxury kitchens and they are not inexpensive, yet they include incredible value for the experience as well as longevity. Jay’s approach is similar, and while this level of professional detail is also not inexpensive, it does have great value and we are planning to work with Jay repeatedly. I recently purchased a new VW Tiguan and I requested the 5+ Year Advanced GRAPHENE/CERAMIC COATING for a little more protection from the elements. He was punctual, mindful of his surroundings and didn’t rush the job. “I tested/ measured it with my paint depth gauge before I used the machine polish just in case it was real thin like some new cars (not good to polish cars with thin clear coat).” Little statements like that let you know you’re working with a professional that wants to deliver quality. I was looking for a detail and called several detailers on the island, but many were slow in responding. Jay (owner) responded to my inquiry quickly and was able to accommodate me within the week. The communication was quick and efficient and he made himself available to answer any questions I had. It isn’t necessarily cheap to get a premium detail, but it was well worth it. I’ve had detailers charge me similar prices and the results were not nearly as good…I will say that. And the mobile set up he has is top notch with this crazy steamer that melted off the brake dust on my wheels that I thought was permanently stuck on! I actually ended up spending a little extra $ and tried out a ceramic coating. I thought these coatings cost like $1K-$2K (and were maybe some kind of gimmick), but he had an option for this 2 year protecting graphene/ceramic that covered the entire truck (wheels, everything) for a lot less. And it is way better than the waxes I have had put on in the past that wear off in a couple months. My truck is super glossy, UV protected and repels water…and this is apparently going to make washing it very quick and easy. I hate it when I get details in the past and it looks great but then doesn’t last very long. We will see, but I think these protective coatings may help solve this problem. Anyway, I would highly recommend Phantom Detailing. Thanks

And his prices were very reasonable, especially given the amount of work our extremely dirty 2011 Prius took to return to spotless condition. We called Jay in hopes of an interior detail for our 4Runner and he came through flawlessly, the next day! With two kids & lots of beach days, the interior needed lots of love. Jay went above and beyond, was extremely professional and had the equipment of fully equipped detail shop in his van. After checking the work upon completion, I was thrilled as the car looked brand new. Later that day, Jay texted me upon reviewing the pictures from his job and he realized that our 4Runner had third row seats that I failed to check and tell him about when he started as they fold down flush in the trunk. He offered to come back and finish the job without it even being requested, which he did. Jay's honesty, will to complete the job perfectly and attention to detail was next level.
